Brownfield Redevelopment Authority Board Seeking Two New Members

The City of Kalamazoo is booming with development and it's an exciting time to be a part of the City's growth! The Brownfield Redevelopment Authority is a huge contributor to economic development and there are two seats opening on the board.

The goal of the BRA is to redevelop areas that are environmentally contaminated, severely blighted, or functionally obsolete, while also creating sustainable jobs and housing opportunities. The Brownfield Board prioritizes these properties and provides incentives for their redevelopment, turning them into something beautiful for our community.

If you are interested in becoming a part of economic development in the City of Kalamazoo, you can apply online or by visiting the City Clerk's Office at City Hall (241 W South Street). Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older, be a City of Kalamazoo resident or work/own a business in the city, and must be passionate about our community.
