Park Kalamazoo manages the parking system downtown, including issuing tickets in the downtown area. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) enforces parking regulations outside of the downtown area. You can pay parking tickets issued by KDPS following the instructions below.
If you need to pay a parking ticket issued downtown, please visit parkkalamazoo.org.
Make sure you know who issued your parking ticket before proceeding, and have your ticket number or license plate number available. If your ticket was issued by Park Kalamazoo, please contact them to make a payment.
Parking tickets accrue a fee if they are not paid after 7 days, 14 days, and 30 days. The fee schedule is printed on each ticket and varies based on the cost of the ticket. If tickets are not paid within 90 days, a Civil Infraction may be issued and results in additional costs.
You can make an online payment for tickets issued by KDPS using a credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) or PayPal. The payment processor charges a $3.50 fee to make an online payment.
