After months of valuable community input during the "Imagine It!" phase, the City of Kalamazoo is now launching "Plan It!"—the next step in updating the City’s Master Plan and Strategic Vision. Four public meetings will help redefine the Strategic Vision Goals and identify the key outcomes that will guide Kalamazoo’s future.

HPC to Recognize Historic Preservation Work with Awards of Merit

The Kalamazoo Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) is currently accepting nominations for the 2025 Historic Preservation Awards of Merit. The awards recognize individuals or institutions that have done an outstanding job of rehabilitating a historic structure or have actively promoted or contributed to historic preservation. Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
