Election Commission

The Kalamazoo City Election Commission is composed of the City Clerk, City Attorney, and City Assessor. The City Election Commission is responsible for caring out election related duties as specified in state law. They meet twice before each election- once to appoint Election Inspectors, and once to perform the public accuracy test.

Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 10 a.m. in the Community Room at City Hall	Establish an absent voter counting board, appoint election inspectors, and test the program and equipment to be used for the Presidential Primary election on February 27, 2024.
Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 10 a.m. in the Community Room at City Hall	Consolidate precincts for the May 7 Election
Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 10 a.m. in the Community Room at City Hall	Appoint election inspectors for the May 7 Election
Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 9 a.m. in the City Record Center at 3001 S Burdick St	Public accuracy test for the May 7 Election
Monday, July 15 at 9 a.m. in the Community Room at City Hall	Appoint election inspectors for the August 6 Election
Friday, July 19, 2024 at 9 a.m. in the City Record Center at 3001 S Burdick St	Complete a public accuracy test for the August 6 Election
Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 9 a.m. in the City Record Center at 3001 S Burdick St	Appoint election inspectors and complete a public accuracy test for the November 5 Election.
Monday, October 14, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. in Community Room at City Hall, 241 W. South Street.	Appoint election inspectors for the election to be held on November 5, 2024
Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in the City of Kalamazoo Records Center, 3001 S. Burdick Street.	Public accuracy test for the program and tabulators to be used at the election on November 5, 2024
