Walk & Roll with us along Michigan Avenue on Friday, October 18, 2024. As we travel the corridor, we would like to gather your thoughts about the walkability, safety, and accessibility of Michigan Avenue. In addition, where could improvements be made to increase the area’s vibrancy, such as places for outdoor dining? Where is a loading zone needed? What are the best locations to cross the street?
To provide options, we'll be taking two walk & rolls: the first will be at 9:00 a.m. and start at Sarkozy Bakery. The second event will be at 3:30 p.m. and leave from Green Top. Both will end at the Radisson Hotel where there will be a short debrief in the lobby. Former Historic Preservation Coordinator Sharon Ferraro also will be in attendance to share historical (and maybe even some Halloween-inspired) stories.
