✨ Step into the Magic at Santa's Workshop! ✨

Located in the heart of the City Centre, just beyond the City Centre Deli, Santa's Workshop is waiting to transport you to a world of holiday enchantment!  You can enter through either the City Centre Farmer's Alley entrance or the Kalamazoo Mall entrance, and stroll to the back of the building where the magic happens.

Inside, you'll find a delightful collection of vintage animated elves created by the talented David Hamberger. These whimsical characters, which are over 30 years old, bring a touch of nostalgia to families who have made Santa's Workshop a beloved tradition. While not all the elves are still in action, those that are will surely spark fond memories and smiles!

Santa's Workshop—formerly known as Santa's Village—has a rich history, having originally been part of The Gilmore Department Store. Today, many of the same trees and decorations still adorn the space, along with iconic treasures like the sleigh and tin soldiers, which have become symbols of this holiday wonderland.

• Saturdays | 12:00 - 6:00 PM
• Sundays | 12:00 - 4:00 PM

Special holiday hours:

• Tuesday, December 24 | 12 - 4:00 PM

On Thursdays and Sundays, meet Black Santa, and on Fridays and Saturdays, White Santa is ready to hear your wishes! But the magic doesn’t stop there—enjoy special activities like decorating shopping bags, writing letters to Santa, and of course, visiting with Santa himself for as long as you'd like. There's no rush to leave—Santa’s Workshop is all about enjoying the experience together! And while you’re there, be sure to check out the Holly Jolly Trolley and explore the festive shopping events hosted by Downtown Kalamazoo Shops.
