INTENT
It is the intent of the City of Kalamazoo to solicit bids from private vendors to provide and install monument foundations to the City owned Riverside Cemetery located at 1015 Gull Road and Mountain Home Cemetery located at 1402 West Main Street.
CONTRACT PERIOD AND EXTENSIONS
The contract shall be in effect for a basic one (1) year period commencing on or about May 1, 2024, subject to availability of funds. The City may opt to extend this contract for up to four (1) one-year periods. All extensions shall be upon mutual agreement of both parties with all provisions of the original contract or any addenda and extensions remaining in full force and effect.
4. SPECIFICATIONS (GENERAL)
The City must be notified two full working days prior to beginning or resuming any and all phases of this contract. The contact persons from the City will be the Project Manager listed in this document, or other designee. Failure to provide the required notice may result in a 10% penalty.
4.1 Monument foundations are to be installed at least three (3) times per year. With the first pouring before May 22, 2024. .
