SCOPE AND INTENT
This contract is for snow removal of West Michigan Ave, Douglas, Westnedge and Park St. (14.1 miles purple route on Attachment A) of sidewalks within the city limits. Alternate bid items are being requested for the red route (Attachment A) (28.4 Miles) to be cleared on an as needed basis. This could be all, or partial clearing based on the needs of the City. This work will only be done if requested by the project manager.
CONTRACT PERIOD
The contract shall be in effect for the 2024-2025 snow season. The contract shall commence on or about November 1, 2024, and continue for one (1) snow season and end on April 30, 2025.
The City may exercise the option to extend this contract for additional snow seasons. Extensions shall not exceed four (4) snow-season periods.
The City may cancel this contract after the first snow season with thirty (30) days written notice. All work is subject to the availability of funds.
The City offers no guarantees as to the amount of work that may be performed or the amount of snow that may be removed during the term of this contract.
