Crane Park Summer Cinema Movie Rescheduled for Friday, August 1

Kzoo Parks will host its next Summer Cinema movie event on Friday, August 1 with a free showing of IF at Crane Park (2001 S Westnedge Ave). This event was rescheduled from Friday, July 25 due to the weather.

Kik Pool Season Extended Until Friday, August 15

The Kik Pool (1018 Walter Street) swimming season has been extended, and the pool will now be open through Friday, August 15. The Kik Pool season was originally planned to start on June 4, but the opening had to be delayed when the scheduled lifeguard trainer withdrew, and staff had to confirm a new trainer for the season.

City to Conduct Aerial Survey to Map Aquifers

The City of Kalamazoo will conduct an airborne electromagnetic (AEM) survey of aquifers in parts of Texas, Oshtemo, Comstock, and Ross Townships starting as early as Monday, July 28, and concluding within the week. This initiative aims to enhance groundwater mapping and improve water resource management.
